I chose to build my practice here in Greensboro, North Carolina, because of a deep sense of community. Greensboroโ€™s big enough to offer opportunity and diversity, but small enough to offer that sense of neighborly care. And those are the values that I wanted to instill in my practice.

We take pride in being deeply connected to Greensboro. Our patients are our neighbors, our friends, our family; we see them at school events, at restaurants when we go out to eat with our family, and around town at events. That personal connection creates a level of accountability and trust that you just canโ€™t replicate in a large corporate setting.

We want our patients to know that their care is truly personal and that theyโ€™ll see the same familiar, friendly faces every time they walk through our doors. What keeps me passionate about dentistry is helping people in our community regain their self-confidence and, perhaps, relieve the discomfort theyโ€™ve been struggling with for years. Knowing that our team is a part of that individual regaining their joy for life and eliminating any oral health issues they have is what keeps me passionate about this day-to-day.

Weโ€™ve always believed that professionalism and warmth donโ€™t have to be opposites. From the moment patients walk through our doors, our goal is to make them feel respected, cared for, and completely at ease. We take our work and our patientsโ€™ health very seriously, but we also wanna make sure we bring a personal touch, remembering names, celebrating milestones, and creating a friendly environment where people feel comfortable asking questions.

Our team plays a huge part in that balance. Everyone here shares the same philosophy that every patient is treated like family while maintaining the highest level of clinical standards. That combination of genuine connection and meticulous care is what the experience is meant to feel like – both professional and down to earth.

Technologyโ€™s really transformed the way we care for our patients; same-day crowns and implants are a great example of that. In the past, patients had to deal with temporary crowns, multiple appointments, and weeks of waiting for their final, definitive crown. Now, with digital scanning, office milling, and design, weโ€™re able to make the permanent crown in a single visit. There are no more impressions, no more temporaries, and no extra time away from work or your family.

Technology for the sake of technology is not always a great thing. So what the challenge for us is, and what weโ€™ve really put a lot of time and energy into, is finding which technologies are gonna make the biggest impact in our patientsโ€™ lives. Not ones with just bells and whistles that are impressive, but ones that actually make a difference in their clinical care and their experience, and the amount of time theyโ€™re gonna be in the chair and their outcomes.

Technology has also transformed the process of dental implants with advanced 3D imaging. Fully guided implant technology is what we use here to make sure we get a perfect result every single time. So, that means shorter procedures, faster healing, and the most predictable results possible.

But beyond technology, what truly excites me is the chance to deepen the relationships weโ€™ve built and to create an even stronger environment with our patients, making them feel like family. Watching people leave our office healthier and happier and more confident is what drives me every day, and I canโ€™t wait to see that continue and expand over the years ahead.

Our goal here is, when you leave here, itโ€™s as if we didnโ€™t do anything; everything feels normal, itโ€™s perfect the first time, and 99.9 percent of the time, it is perfect the first time. Whether itโ€™s a simple cleaning or a complex dental procedure, we want every patient to feel as if they are in good hands, that we value their time, and that they actually enjoy the experience. If they leave smiling, not only because their teeth look great, but because they actually had a good experience, we know we did a good job.

Dentistry is not a one-size-fits-all solution for patients. Every individual person is different; different goals, different concerns, and different circumstances. My role as a dentist is to guide them, not pressure them – to offer professional recommendations, but always respect their individual preferences. But when patients feel heard and involved, the trust and results are much stronger, and typically, weโ€™re gonna build a much stronger relationship together.

My philosophy for care is centered around education and partnership. I believe patients should always feel informed and empowered when it comes to their treatment choices. That means taking the time to clearly explain every option that they have, the benefits, the risk of pursuing those options, and what to expect long term, so the patient can make a decision that they feel is right for them. And the cornerstone of that is education; I truly believe in educating the patients on their problems and really educating them on their options for care, and that has really been successful for us.

Being recognized as a rising star in dentistry is truly an honor for me, but itโ€™s really a reflection of the people I get to serve every day. It represents the trust our patients place in us and the dedication of our team to deliver exceptional care. Awards are wonderful, but what really matters most is knowing that weโ€™re making a real difference in peopleโ€™s lives.

If I had to sum up our practice in one statement, I would say that you can expect to receive exceptional quality, exceptional care, and be treated like family from individuals who are gonna be very familiar faces long term. If youโ€™re considering a new home for your dental care, consider reaching out to us; weโ€™d love to hear from you and make you part of our family.

Dr. Matko at Travis A Bell DDS PLLC

As soon as I walked into Dr. Travis Bellโ€™s office, I knew that I wanted to be a part of it. In fact, when I closed my eyes and imagined my ideal practice in office, it was Dr. Travis Bellโ€™s practice.

The reason that I love dentistry is that dentistry is more than a profession. It gives you an office team and a group of patients that become family. We see our patients every six months for years. We watch their children grow and follow their job changes and health hurdles. We tell them to floss and address their dental emergencies and even get them through extensive dental treatment thatโ€™s required. I have realized how special to me these relationships are, and I love dentistry because Iโ€™m a part of these peopleโ€™s lives and building these relationships, which I truly value.

If I had to say the top three things I love most about working here, it would include the quality and sincerity of the care across all the caregivers here. The fact that we stand behind our treatment, always with the focus on the patientโ€™s best interest, and finally, that we strive to create an exceptional level of trust based on simple integrity.

Listening is only the first step to help our patients feel comfortable. Additionally, we take time to let you know what to expect during each appointment and answer your questions and concerns. To further communication, we utilize photos taken during your treatment that help you see and understand the actual process.

In our office, we incorporate some of the most advanced dental technology. It includes Cone Beam radiographs, one-day in-office crown and bridge, implant surgery, and digital radiology. The Cone Beam radiograph is a three-dimensional image that gives so much more information on the health of the teeth and their surrounding structures. Further, it allows Dr. Travis Bell to measure, to place implants accurately in our surgical suite here at the office. The one-day in-office crown and bridge restores broken teeth in one day. There are no more uncomfortable temporaries, and itโ€™s only a one-day process without the two-week delay with a lab.

Digital radiography also is so important because you get an instant image with minimal exposure. But please know that some things stay the same, including the treatment planning and information gathering, the patient-centered care without rush or cutting corners.

As a new patient at Dr. Travis Bellโ€™s practice, you will not only feel heard, youโ€™ll receive advanced top-notch dental treatment and have your needs as our top concern. But most importantly, youโ€™ll become a part of our dental family, which is synonymous with trust and simple integrity.
